Terms of Service

1. Agreement and Acceptance

By checking the terms box at checkout, signing an enrollment form, or using any Royer Neuroscience program, service, or equipment, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms are an agreement between you and DRROYER PLLC dba Royer Neuroscience (“Royer Neuroscience,” “we,” “us”), including programs delivered under the Inner Armor name. “Program” means any training, assessment, Inner Armor Resilience, or Inner Armor Neuro program you enroll in. “Equipment” means any device, sensor, or accessory we provide for your Program.

If you enroll on behalf of a minor or another person, you accept these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their compliance and for all charges.

2. Program Term and Billing

Your Program begins with a 3-month initial term, paid in full at enrollment, and then continues as a monthly membership until you cancel.

  1. Initial term. Your enrollment payment covers the first 3 months of your Program, including use of the Equipment during that period.
  2. Automatic monthly membership. When the initial term ends, your membership continues automatically at the monthly rate in effect for your Program, plus any applicable tax. We charge the payment method you provided at enrollment on the same day each month.
  3. Authorization. By enrolling, you authorize Royer Neuroscience to charge your payment method for the initial term and for each monthly payment until you cancel under Section 3.
  4. Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, pause your Program, and ask you to return the Equipment. You remain responsible for amounts owed.
  5. Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing your monthly price. The change applies to payments made after the notice period.

3. Early Termination and Cancellation

The 3-month initial term cannot be terminated early or refunded; after it ends, you may cancel your monthly membership at any time by notifying your representative and returning the Equipment.

  1. No early termination. The 3-month initial term is a fixed commitment. If you stop participating at any point during the initial term, the enrollment payment is non-refundable, in whole or in part.
  2. Cancelling the monthly membership. After the initial term, you may cancel at any time. To cancel, notify your representative in writing (email is acceptable) of your decision to stop and return the Equipment under Section 4.4.
  3. Stopping during the initial term. If you decide to stop during the initial term, notify your representative and return the Equipment within 7 days of that decision. If the Equipment is received in working condition before the initial term ends, no monthly charges will begin.
  4. When billing stops. Monthly billing ends based on the date we receive the Equipment in working condition and process the return, not the date you notify us. Your final monthly charge is prorated to that date.
  5. Termination by us. We may end your Program if you breach these Terms, misuse the Equipment, or fail to pay. If we end your Program without cause during the initial term, we will refund the unused portion of the enrollment payment.

4. Equipment Use, Care, and Return

Equipment is rented to you, remains the property of Royer Neuroscience, and must be used as directed and returned when your Program ends; you may be charged for damage, loss, or non-return.

4.1 Equipment covered

This section covers all equipment related to assessments, Inner Armor Resilience, and Inner Armor Neuro programs.

4.2 Usage guidelines

  1. Authorized use. Equipment is only for registered clients of Royer Neuroscience or Inner Armor, and only for training and assessment.
  2. Pre-use inspection. Before each use, inspect all components, including cords, plugs, and connections, for damage or wear. Do not operate Equipment that shows damage or corrosion, and report it immediately.
  3. Use as intended. Use the Equipment only as instructed. Do not modify, alter, or tamper with any component.
  4. Storage. Keep the Equipment away from moisture, extreme temperatures, and direct sunlight. Store it in a clean, dry place when not in use.

4.3 Maintenance and reporting

  1. Stop and report irregularities. If the Equipment makes unusual noises, vibrates, or behaves irregularly, stop using it immediately and contact your representative.
  2. After each use. Clean the Equipment and store it properly.
  3. Report damage promptly. Report any damage or malfunction to your representative without delay.

4.4 Return

  1. Return label. When you notify your representative that you are stopping, we will send you a prepaid return label. Use this label so your return is tracked and processed.
  2. Return deadline. You must return the Equipment within 7 days of deciding to stop your Program, whether during the initial term or after it.
  3. Charges continue until the Equipment is returned. If the Equipment is not returned, your subscription remains active and you authorize us to continue charging your payment method the monthly membership rate, every month, until the Equipment is received in working condition. This applies even if you have told us you want to cancel.
  4. Damaged or non-working Equipment. Equipment returned damaged or not in working condition is not considered returned, and monthly charges continue until the issue is resolved. You may end these charges by paying the current replacement cost of the Equipment.

5. Assessments, Confidentiality, and Release

You consent to the assessments that are part of your Program, agree to keep our proprietary methods confidential, and release Royer Neuroscience from claims related to testing.

  1. Consent to assessments. You authorize Royer Neuroscience and Dr. Timothy G. Royer to administer the personality, neuropsychological, and capacity tests and assessments that are customary and appropriate for your Program. This consent is voluntary, lasts for the duration of your training, and may be revoked at any time in writing to DRROYER PLLC dba Royer Neuroscience. Revoking consent may end your ability to continue the Program; it does not change Section 3.
  2. Proprietary methods. Some or all of the tests and techniques we use are proprietary or trade secret information. You agree not to disclose information about them to any third party, except as required or permitted by law.
  3. Release. In exchange for being allowed to participate, you release and agree to hold Royer Neuroscience and Dr. Timothy G. Royer harmless from any and all claims arising from or relating to any testing, observations, conclusions, or the disclosure or use of information in connection with testing and evaluation, to the extent permitted by law.
  4. Not a substitute for medical care. Our Programs are training and assessment services. They are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by your physician.
  5. Your privacy rights. How we collect, use, and protect your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Your privacy rights, including how to access your information and withdraw consent, are described in that policy.

6. General Terms and Contact

These Terms are governed by North Carolina law, may be updated with notice, and questions go to your representative or the contact below.

  1. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version on our website and notify active clients by email. Changes do not affect a Program term you have already paid for.
